DescriptionI’m generally not a straight up recreation guy, but damn. Bill put some work into this one. And at post pandemic prices, I don’t think I’d have it in me to fight for the original if it ever came to auction. 😆This is a recreation of his memorable Death-Hunt title splash - the first interior page in his groundbreaking New Mutants run. This version was included in a limited portfolio he sold at SDCC in 2017 I believe. Sorry for the slight glare - it’s been framed and on my wall since I got it. 14x20. I included a pic of the OA I found online. Social/Sharing |

I have never been to your house but it is safe to say this is my favorite wall in your place.
The one with all the "appliances" is a close second.

Experimental and exciting when it came out using graphic design illustration to bring modern art into the comic page! This recreation refreshes our appreciation for Sienkieiwcz's art at a time when he broke the house style of both Marvel and DC.

This is awesome, congrats on this recreation beauty. Great design and represents a really huge piece is comics. Bill's work here is gorgeous.

Having seen the original a number of times in person (I don't own it), I can say this is a great looking recreation. You did well and it seems to be not very often Bill puts this much time and work into a piece anymore.

Sienkiewicz took his art to another level during the latter part of his run on Moon Knight. Then with the New Mutants, it was as if he said "OK, now, watch this !!!" Recreation or not, Sienkiewicz made fans expect more from comics. And learn how to spell (and pronounce) his damn name.
