It's nice to have a page featuring the 1st appearances of the first Swamp Thing host since Alec Holland, not to mention his friend/girlfriend Jennifer Reece. Like you, the Brooklyn brownstone exterior shot blew my mind, so I can imagine how cool it must seem for a comic fan actually living in that city. I also really dig all the facial closeups, especially Levi's in the 6th and 7th panels. The gray wash tones everywhere are the icing on the cake!

Beautiful art and I feel like the guy drinking the beer is on the same level of Andy Dufresne enjoying the bucket of ice cold suds on the rooftop.

Yes!  More beautiful illustration from Masterful Mike Perkins.  Even the -floor- (in panel two) is enthralling.  Great portraits of two main protagonists, and the brownstone exterior is just superb.  Congrats on a great issue 1 page, Kavi!
