Description

When I learned that Tom Hodges would be making an appearance at WonderCon 2007, I knew that it was finally time to assign this Common Elements project, pairing the ever-popular Hellboy with Marvel's ageless Hellcat, who in her everyday identity of Patsy Walker has been in comics since the 1940s. Tom accepted the commission about three weeks in advance of the con, and delivered the finished art at the event.

Although this was originally commissioned as a pen and ink drawing, on his own initiative Tom added some lush marker shading to give the piece a spectacular finish.

This is Common Elements #47.
