It's 2025 and I'm feeling...

INVINCIBLE!

Well, no. Not really. Far from it...

But that didn't stop me from digging out a piece I picked up from back in 2020 and get a fresh brand new scan to share on CAF!

Invincible is certainly one of the best modern superhero books from beginning to end. Happy to have added an interior page example from the series by Ryan Ottley previously, wish I had gotten more art from the book before the animated series blew up (also fantastic) and prices went a little nutty.

I'm not usually one for getting Marker art (Fred Hembeck being the exception these days I suppose) but this one was done really well by Chris Imber IMHO whose art I had not heard of but couldn't pass up having it thrown into the packaged deal for the Ottley page at the time when I picked it up from another collector.

Nice! I know it's odd to say about this piece, but I can feel all the action inherent in it. Like most collectors, I also don't like marker pieces. But let's just be honest about that here: This marker piece is a few cuts above the rest!

Boy, 2024 was kinda rough on the poor guy. I hope 2025 treats him better!! Great depiction of a battle-bloodied Invincible.

From the thumbnail I thought this was Ottley, both in terms of the rendering and the color palette!

Definitely channels the vibe of the book! Particularly like how Imber colored those lenses. Starting 2025 off invincibly, Kavi, congrats!
