Description

This was published in Fat Cat Masterpieces 2007 Calendar. This piece is huge. Twice the size of any of the others. I talked with Mike and he said this was his favorite and the most time consuming. He even hid his signature in the painting. Mike Fentz was one of the main and original artists that worked with Jim Davis since 1983. Jim Davis helped with the idea but never touched the piece. Signed by his hand. This is a spoof of the priceless paintings Called, The Blue Boy by Thomas Gainsborough and Pinkie by Thomas Lawrence. 46x35in image area done in oils on canvas

I keep all my high school calendars so one day I can be on the Supreme Court. Fentz gave us the most ideal images on these paintings that hung in offices all across the world and made Garfield even a bigger part of Pop culture.
