Description

I bought a deck for Magic in 1995, played exactly three times, then didn�t touch the game again until 2011. Near the end of that year I made the mistake of dating a woman obsessed with the game, drawing me back into it for the duration of our brief relationship.

At the same time RK Post was running a series of art auctions on E-Bay for a prostate cancer charity. This was one of two pieces I won off him. My entire knowledge of Magic coming from Ice Age and Innistrad, I had no idea who this character was for years, referring to her only as �Cute Splotchy-Faced Girl.�

I had a guy who was very adamant that he was going to win the auction for this playmat. After the auction he was then very obsessive about the idea I should sell it to him for less than what I paid for it. Part of the reason it was only in recent years that I started posting my collection publicly was because of his hounding me whenever I would share anything, as though me showing off other pieces meant I was willing to finally part with it. I later stumbled onto the fact he knew a Magic collector he planned on flipping it to.

Well if it bothers you that much to have someone hound you for this, you can sell it to me for less than what you paid for it. Win-win all around.

What a nicely inked piece. The details in the hair is amazing as is the work on the sleeve. Nice pickup!
