Description

To my understanding Jeff Purves only had a short stay in comics, doing 19 issues of Incredible Hulk and a couple Marvel Comics Presents stories. Nonetheless, his Hulk looms large for me as his era was when I first started collecting. I also love the more monstrous look of his interpretation, despite the three piece suits. This was actually the second issue of Hulk I ever read, if anyone has any pages available from issue 355, the first Hulk comic I ever purchased please let me know.
The two pages I now have in my CAF Gallery don’t have Hulk in them, but I was happy to pick them up. Both because I haven’t seen a lot of Purves pages for sale, period, and also because Glorian features in both and his encounters with Hulk stand out in my memories of this era. Thank you to Philip who made these available during the Spring session of Comic Art Live.

Yeah, these don't show up often at all since Purves' run was for a few years and Hulk fans really took to his storytelling with Peter David.
