Description

This was a piece that Jeff did for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund (CBLDF) and it has graced many prints, shirts, bags, magnets - you name it! This was an image that I saw displayed often at cons back in the day (although I am biased because being a huge Bone fan meant that I was always looking out for it) and I was really amazed to see this come up during the recent National Cartoonist Society's auction (thanks Bill for setting up the online bidding!). I am always happy getting any Bone art, but especially Jeff's Bone art!

Feels like it doesn't get much rarer than published OA of Bone from Jeff Smith. The price of Rose pages has been skyrocketing, too - this is a super special get, and whatever it cost, it was definitely worth it! Bravo, my friend!

Really cool as Jeff Smith has been a long time supporter of the cause through the highs and lows of the CBLDF as the core mission still remains.

Jeff's inking line is absolutely perfect. I just finished reading the series for the first time and his amazing line weights always stood out, among the many other great aspects of his story. Great piece, congrats!
