DescriptionI was going to wait to post this but I was too excited. I'll start by saying this is a HUGE bucket list piece for me and I never thought I'd have the opportunity to own a piece by Arthur Adams, let alone an Adams piece from the 90's. I've tried for several over the years and they've always been just out of reach or way out of reach.Like many of us I grew up with Adams' work and had his poster art on my walls as a teenager. His three issue arc on Fantastic Four has always been a standout and a highly nostalgic story for me. I'm elated to share this page from Fantastic Four # 348 published January 1991 with the story titled "WHERE MONSTERS DWELL!" This was the 2nd issue in the 3 issue arc and it even got a 2nd print. Even though it's mostly headshots, Adams and team made every panel count! There is so much to love from the bold banter between a kidnapped Reed slipping into an early stage of Stockholm syndrome with his sultry Skrull capturer (the imposter Sue), to the sweeping shot of the New FF team packed in the FF glider. If you weren't hooked yet then the shot of Wolverine leading into some superb shots of the Mole Man's Monsters, followed by the rest of the New FF team really took this page to another level! As a bonus this piece was signed by Walt and Arthur in 2018 and Walt did a Ben Grim sketch on the back just for Snorek! Additionally I noticed Arthur noted the date "10-26-1990" of when he drew the page at the bottom. Big thank you to Rob/Wolvie Fan for making this one possible and a smooth trade! Social/Sharing |

Huge congrats, George! This was definitely one of my favorite teams growing up. You can't beat that line up! Great to see you add an 90's Adams interior to the collection. Huge get!

I think anyone who read Art's run on the New FF was fundamentally altered and to own one of these pages must be like a Time Machine - instantly taking you back to that teenage bedroom and enjoying the absolute thrill and adventure of your mind expanding into a new dimension! Amazing!!!

Oh that Reed, he's such a dog. Poor Sue had to put on the Malice outfit to get his attention. Meooowww.

A top page from the book with shots of the old team and the new FF! Arthur Adams books were special events and were usually reserved for annuals. If this was a 4 issue arc, it could have been a double feature to connect the annual #24 and issue #350.

Wow! You really got it all with this page! The new FF, the old FF, the Fantasticar, and all those great monsters! Not sure you could have found a better all-in-one page to add to your collection. Congratulations my friend.

Wow! Wow! Wow! What a terrific Fantastic Four page! I loved Art Adams' run on this book! His new FF was fun and full of interesting twists. Love the closeup of Wolverine in panel 3. And the monsters in panels 4, 5 and 6 are superfun! Splendid pick-up, congrats!
