DescriptionHere is the original art by the great Greg Capullo for the 1993 Wizard Magazine FOIL / Chromium Spawn & Violator promo trading cards published by Wizard Press!!! These cards were bagged with Wizard "The Guide to Comics" #30. This artwork came from the Shamus Modern Masterworks Collection. Gareb Shamus was the publisher of Wizard magazine.This piece is full of nostalgia. When Spawn came out in the early 90's it was everywhere and I used to love seeing the McFarlane and Capullo articles and amazing spawn art in Wizard. I believe Capullo started working on the Spawn series in '93 which would make this piece a very early Spawn piece from Greg. I never imagined owning a Capullo-Spawn piece and feel lucky to add this one to my collection! Social/Sharing |

Outstanding pickup George! Wow! One of my favorites of the Wizard cards in those early Wizard days, and they were so cool back then as they were all coming out! I still have most of these old Wizard trading cards:) Nostalgic for sure! Congrats!

LOVE!!!!!! This one takes me way back....Wizard....Spawn....a time when I waited each and every month with baited breath for my comics.

Very memorable and a great value at what it went for. Should have gone much higher for the quality of the piece!

Love the old Wizard magazines... In fact, still own them!! All those half issues and exclusive cards and contests. Congrats and thanx for posting up!
