DescriptionThis piece was actually a gift for my amazing step dad who introduced me to a lot of music and is a huge Rolling Stones fan.Richard Pace beautifully drew this on August 24th, 2021 as a memorial piece the day Charlie Watts passed away. Pace stated, “Charlies Watts - Greatest drummer in rock's greatest band.” This piece was done with pencil, ink and white paint on 11x17 bristol. It was sold to benefit Pace’s local food bank. Signed by Pace on the first rack tom. Social/Sharing |

Love it, George. The scratchy line work is so on point, and the piece really drives home the ESSENCE of Watts! I'm sure steppops was stoked :) Congrats!

Okay, I have no idea where Groo Fan sees any Wrightson in this so I can only presume he's high on life again, but still, it is fantastic and nicer than any comic art I've ever seen Pace do. Fabulous acquisition, George!

You can hear the brisk percussion and the rhythm with the sticks going at it in all angles.
