Wolverine!!! Claws out!!! Roller skates!!! Drawn in Wrightson style!!! This has mystery sketch of the year all over it!!! Got my vote!

wondering what song he's rolling around to at the local rink! he can skate he can slaw but can he chew gum at the same time?

In a push to make Wolverine more kid-friendly, the violence, blood, and cigar are all gone. Replaced by a button down collar shirt, corduroy pants, and roller skates. Now close your eyes and imagine this scene taking place in an old roller rink with ABBA's Dancing Queen playing.

I'm picturing him having just rolled under a low bar a la the Limbo, looking to the right, and saying "I'm the best there is..." :) Nice looking and a FUN piece! Congrats, and good lookin' out, JC! Happy new year!

80's disco night at the roller rink! This Xavier School field trip proved a hit, except when Eleven struck Angela in the face with the skate.

(Sung to the Jim Croce song "Roller Derby Queen" or in this case "Rollin' Wolverine"):
He was 5 foot 3, three fifteen
A bad ass X-Man with a streak of mean
He knew how to knuckle and he knew how to scuffle and fight
And the roller derby program said
That he was built like a 'fridgerator with a head
His fans called him Wolvy, but all his buddies called him Snikt

(Marcus is much better at this, haha! But that classic Croce song came to mind when I saw this awesome Wolvy sketch. Congrats!)

Ha! Fantastic drawing. I've seen a lot of iterations of this guy but Rollverine is a new one and this guy looks ready to party.
