Description

Beautiful color comprehensive for the 1996 "The Phantom" movie, by arguably the greatest movie poster artist of our time, Drew Struzan. I�ve been a fan of the Phantom for as long as I can remember, and have been looking for a nice Struzan for quite some time, so I�m more than glad to add this beauty to my collection...

Heritage description:
The Phantom by Drew Struzan (Paramount, 1996). Signed Original Mixed Media Concept Artwork on Illustration Board (22" X 30").
One of the top poster artists of modern movieland, Drew Struzan, lends his signature style to Simon Wincer's take on the pulp comic book hero from the 1930s. Excelling at various forms of portraiture, Struzan created excellent renderings of stars Billy Zane, Kristy Swanson, and Cary-Hirouki Tagawa. The illustration is done in bright acrylics and colored pencils, classic components of Struzan's work, and the piece has both been signed in the lower right and has the artist's official stamps on the verso.

I'm a big fan of this movie !! Except for the part where Zander Drax feels he has to spell out his name. Ugh.
