Description

Loved this GA/Earth II Wonder Woman & Spectre page since I was a kid. Difficult to comprehend that it's now 40 years old!

The 1st, 4th, 6th, and 8th panels are the ones I recall very well from back then.

Huge fan of Alcala ink's as well as Michael Bair's (nee Hernandez) pencils. I wish they had more collaborative output.

Missed out on this near Grail page in Dec 2022 due to having much bigger "fish to fry". Got second chance 2 years later and acquired it, albeit overpriced, we've all been there - right :)

congrats, rick! that book was excellent! i was not really a big dc guy at the time but that mini-series was a nice introduction to the team's history, yes, too bad bair and alcala did not do more work together.

Some of the bestvdepictions of the GA heroes as Alacala had the illustration touch that made these legends look important as someone documenting biblical art. Simple straight kick never looked as stylized with the art almost speaking a different visual language than our own world.

What a fantastic page! I loved this series, especially their take on an older Wonder Woman. The inks here are amazing. Kudos, sir!
