Seen at the 1:39 mark of Hayao Miyazaki's masterpiece My Neighbor Totoro, presented is an incredibly rare hand-painted original production cel from the heartwarming opening title sequence. My Neighbor Totoro is widely considered the defining title in the prestigious canon of Studio Ghibli films, with its titular character acting as the primary mascot of the studio. This piece has a hand-painted image area of 13.5" x 3.5" on two 13.75" x 9" cels. The cels bear the hand-written notations OP-5, B63, and C28 in the upper right corner.
