My crayons never looked this good!

A color study for the Longbow Hunters promotional poster. Executed in crayon/color pencils over a stat of the pencil linework. Image area of 6.25" x 11". Signed by Grell on front and back.

I have this poster somewhere...might have to dig it out!

The figures of Oliver and Shado are pretty to close in feel and spirit to what would be done, but the design of how the bows connect to the main design of the frame is just fabulous. It's a poster on a wall that would pair well with the style of home decor of the time.

Interesting color study to the coolest Green Arrow poster ever! I can remember seeig this poster in my comic book shop and buying the first issue of the comic just because I thought the poster really rocked. I still do. Fun to see the prelim color study--It's pretty close to the final! Fantastic pick-up, congrats!
