DescriptionThanks to Nick Barrucci for making this one available! I do love the Jim Gordon/Bruce Wayne/Batman dynamic and I’ve been quite fortunate to have put together a nice representation of their relationship throughout the Snyder/Capullo run. This one represents their newly formed partnership that was solidified over the course of the Zero Year story. It showed how Gordon went from someone Bruce wanted nothing to do with to someone he knows he can trust. On the page it is mentioned that Gordon has just been promoted to Commissioner, a very great ally for Batman to have!I also particularly love this page for the giant Wayne Tower image, a building design present through the entirety of the run. With its spires evoking the ever looming presence of Batman. Just a great visual connection of Bruce’s dual identities! For more on this one and to see me unbox it, feel free to check out my new YouTube channel: http://www.youtube.com/@CarlCollectsComicArt Figured it would be fun to post content dedicated to my love of comic art! I always love seeing the how’s and why’s people choose to but what they do so I figured I should do that for my pick-ups! Social/Sharing |

I like the L shape of the what's shown on the splash as it starts with the height of tower where the press conference is held and then ends in the bottom as to how the press conference will affect the common everyday person on the ground.

A lovely Bruce Wayne focused page and I also enjoy watching other collectors open up their purchases and sharing in their joy, so keep recording your unboxings! In other news....Given how many times someone in the DC Universe has suspected that Bruce Wayne might be Batman, it seems ridiculous to add those batwing looking spires to the top of the building, doesn't it?

Ha! Right? Thankfully there are too many other distractions for Gothamites to notice such an obvious connection! Just a fun visual connection for us to make!
Thanks for the kind words on the unboxing video, will definitely keep doing them, it's been quite fun so far!!

Glad you were able to add this one to your collection. I can see what you mean by the interplay between this page and the others you have showing Bruce and Gordon's relationship. Very cool. Congrats.
