Description

Back during the lockdown of 2020 the Hero Initiative did a series of online events where you could chat with a comic creator online, and they’d mail you a commission of the comic character of your choosing. I’ve never been able to get to a comic con Dan Jurgens was attending, so when I saw he was one of the creators participating it was a no-brainer.

Funny story: I was a deemed an essential worker during the lockdown, and my hours were long, and all over the place. Getting off work the day of the event, I fell asleep almost instantly, waking up about ten minutes before the online talk was to start. Suffice it to say I was a sweaty mess, with my hair looking like I go to the same barber as Doc Brown. I kept my camera off for the chat because of that.

I understand the chat was recorded, so if you ever come across it and wonder why I’m not on-camera, know it was to spare everyone the sight of me looking like Oscar the Grouch’s cousin.

An underrated pin up beauty in Superman's lore! Perfectly done Maxima by Jurgens who has such a deep history with the Superman mythos that it lends an aura of authenticity.
