DescriptionJuly 1974, Fantastic Four #148, Page #10, Rich Buckler pencils/Joe Sinnott inks, “The Frightful Four Strike Again”, A stunning all action panel page featuring The Fantastic Four fighting the Sandman in an epic battle.A very nostalgic page for me. The Sandman, a member of the Frightful Four vs: The Fantastic Four. What more can you want from a Bronze Age page. Sandman switching from grains of sand back to human form in panel 4 is so memorable. This great page is engrained in my psyche forever. The Frightful Four (Thundra, Sandman, Wizard, Trapster), were led by Thundra, and Medusa briefly joined the group. Social/Sharing |

Awesome page. I love good Reed panels on FF pages and here you get a rare angry and unshaven Reed but for me those two killer Sandman panels are CLASSIC Marvel right out of the Silver Age. Bravo!

That's some instant stubble on Reed's face from panel 1 to the last panel! Sinnott makes the Buckler action energetic and refined. Very dramatic shots at the end with great storytelling!
