DescriptionKill Or Be Killed was THE book that got me interested in the work of Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips. But much to my dismay, the only way to get any art, any representation of this book, was through Sean’s painted covers (All of the book’s interior art was done digitally). Then this—a piece that was used as a Gosh Comics’ exclusive bookplate for Kill Or Be Killed (Volume 2)—became available. I was very fortunate to be at the right place at the right time. So cool!! Congrats
Thanks, Michael. Haven't had the time yet to write on the description of this piece but I believe the bookplates are the only physical art from the Kill Or Be Killed book aside from Sean's painted covers.

Pretty sure you're right about that. The interiors were amazing, with every magazine cover at the newsstand detailed etc., but I think it was all digital. This is a great piece from the series in any case!

Thanks Artless! As you said, all the interiors were digital (I believe this was the case with both The Fade Out and Kill Or Be Killed). I was very fortunate to come by this piece when I did.

The lighting gives this so much detail of the clothing that ties into the negative space within the shadow. By contrast the gun flash is kept very simple and basic to bring focus back towards the center,

Thank you, Marcus. The balance stood out to me as well.
