On this page Swamp Thing has his final confrontation with the Pale Pligrim.

With Mike penciling and inking himself, his art has risen to whole new level.
Even though I haven't read the series nor am I a fan of Swamp Thing, I needed to get a representative page from the series.
Picked up from Rubén DaCollector claim sale on YouTube.

Having bought plenty of art from books I haven't read, I can really appreciate someone willing to do the same thing, because then I know it's all about the art! Fun Fact: The human figure from the perspective that Swamp Thing is drawn here, is incredibly difficult. Very tricky to get the anatomy and proportions correct. A shame you don't even like the character though, because the story was FANTASTIC!

What can I say that isn't right in front of us on this page? Another outstanding example of the expanding imagination of Mike Perkins. Great acquisition, congrats!

Page of fight; wills fight in the art.
I will fight; will fight for Perkins Swamp Thing.
In my mind, I wanted all the pages
Skill overcomes, internet frustrations.

A straight line exists between me and the Swamp Things.
I have found Mike’s line and inspiration is known to me.
Absolute trust keeps me going in Ruben’s direction.
Any intrusion is met with the art full of the Swamp Thing.

Try to compare what he is presenting.
You will meet, ink wash sensation.
Try to find ... similar situation.
You will always find, my celebration.
