The Kane look is dominant over what the inker can do!  Each character's body language is like an action figure with a flexible range of motion and placed powerful poses.  That nostril work tunnelling up is amazing!  Ghost Rider and Gladiator on a page is an impressive piece to own!

I like how that lady is channeling her inner Donald Sutherland. (Invasion of the Body snatchers) I've grown to really dig Kane's work. It's so distinctive and original, and he has that Colanesque knack of picking interesting dymamic angles to grab the reader. And how often did you see Ghost Rider match up with the Gladiator? Other than in the official handbook of the marvel universe, I wasn't aware of them being in any other comic together before. Very cool. Congrats!

Classic, beautiful, action-packed Kane. I am soooo jealous. Thanks for sharing this gem!

I recently read an interview that said Joe Staon, who was Gil Kane's assistant for a time, actually ghosted for Kane on this issue.  Along with a few Spider-Man (e.g. 150) and a Conan story.  Interesting to think about.
