I'm thrilled to add Captain America #265, page 26, from 1981. What's special about this page?

* It is the first issue Michael J Zeck and John Beatty worked on Cap together! They would go on as penciler/inker duo for a few years.

* I love how both Cap & Spidey are in each of the four panels (as is Cap's shield). Great action sequence!

* Okay, the nerd in me is really showing - I did the math... Not only is this the 8th time Zeck has drawn Cap, it is the 8th time he has drawn Spider-Man!

There was something special about the Mike Zeck run on Cap. The linework was fabulous!

Zeck Cap is a big enough score, but adding Zeck Spidey is setting the bar way higher than imaginable.

Can't go wrong with a Zeck Cap and this one is even more special with that middle panel close up of Cap shielding Spidey! Very jealous!
