DescriptionThis page is from the issue featuring the Winter Soldier’s first appearance (the very next panel on the next page) but, honestly, I’m a sucker for seeing Cap’s shield ricochet! Besides Cap taking out the bad guys and rescuing Sharon Carter (in chains, no less), this scene is when Sharon reveals she’s seen the killer and she thinks it’s Bucky! A bit of bondage and really fun use of the big cityscape backdrop. The Cap attack is superb and efficient. Then the set up is mounting of high tension.

Great observations - and I agree! Epting had a knack for adding city scapes to his backgrounds. And the tension of this page leads directly to the first panel on the next page... the Winter Soldier revealed as Bucky Barnes! Thanks for pointing that out, Marcus.
