When I saw this Spectacular Spider-Men #6 variant cover by Declan Shalvey I knew I had to have it! Unfortunately it was out of my price range so I had to sell a piece of art. I've always wanted a Deadpool & Wolverine cover and thankfully the new movie spurred Marvel to do a variant takeover with 9 different covers across several comics. Making it the perfect time to scoop one up!

This cover has the movies versions of Deadpool, Wolverine and as an extra bonus the movie version of Dogpool! I believe its movie Dogpool's second appearance? Let me know if I'm wrong! I'm pretty sure the movie version of Dogpool had his first appearance on Jorge Molina's Immortal Thor #13 variant cover the week prior. To my knowledge movie dogpool hasn't appeared inside a comic yet. Drawn on 11" x 17" Marvel comic art board in pencil and ink by Declan Shalvey.

Deadpool Wolverine will be out on Disney+ in a couple weeks. It's been smashing box office records. Top box office for a rated R movie ever! Also the 8th highest grossing Marvel movie just behind Black Panther!

Cool how it's the movie costumes but still got that legit comic book look! Love how the dog isn't facing down...must be enjoying it, just going with the flow :) And yeah, that movie's killing it worldwide. As you point out, still behind BP, though ;) At least for now - not sure that's gonna last! Congrats!
