DescriptionI completely fell in love with Vampirella's face on this illustration! Wow. Happy to add my first Gonzalez Vampirella to my collection! Looking for more Gonzalez if you are selling, try me!No idea if it was published. But believe it to be a Frontis illustration. Description from Heritage Auctions March 16 2022: Jose "Pepe" Gonzalez - Vampirella and Pendragon Illustration Original Art (2005). A beautiful, large pure pencil illustration from the late, great Pepe Gonzalez, who is still considered one of the best in the business at drawing the Drakulon Darling. Here, Vampy is posed along side her most trust worthy friend and magician, Pendragon. Graphite on illustration board with an image area of 18" x 25.5". Signed and in Excellent condition. Here's something I really miss, in my Vampi collection... Congrats on this gorgeous piece and thanks for sharing!

If I'm her friend, can I get some thigh action too? Gonzalez's pencil is bringing that 70's fashion model look to Vampirella with that hair and eyelash work. It accomplishes a robust look with control of lighting.

What a great acquisition! I love how the original Vampi artists draw her hair. And I think Peter Cushing would've made a great Pendragon if that Hammer film ever got made.

Thank you. I agree. Peter would have been a delight and who wouldn't want to see Barbara Leigh on screen as Vampy. My guess is she might be model here. Cushing certainly looked the part !
