Monica Moynihan. I am a Los Angeles-based writer and Patrick Nagel scholar. I manage PatrickNagelArts on Instagram where Duran Duran's "Rio" model was first discovered in 2024. I earned a B.A. in journalism from Pepperdine University, Malibu and I work as an art dealer, consultant and authenticator with several auction houses including Heritage Auctions, Bonhams , and Phillips. I love fantasy art and comics, but I come from a background specializing in Los Angeles based figurative artists Robert D. Blue, Olivia De Berardinis, Dennis Mukai, and Patrick Nagel, the latter of whom I am actively developing a catalogue raisonne'. I am happy to help you anytime and I LOVE all the art in my collection, but feel free to contact me if you are interested in something even if says NFS.
