DescriptionI love this piece. People might balk at its darkness, but it means a lot to me. Seeing the way creators express darkness and negative issues in art and comics really helps me to navigate my own emotions and experiences. It helps me feel more hopeful, less alone, and like I am connected to my community. This image (before becoming a trading card) was made into a black t-shirt, which is now an expensive vintage t-shirt if you can find it anywhere...this piece is 8.5" x 11" on Bristol and it's done in pencils (which I found a nice choice for this one...it needed a soft touch).Social/Sharing |
