Description

Here is a Black Widow drawing by Brian Stelfreeze that he did for me at a HeroesCon in Charlotte, NC. I am not sure which year this was from, but it was in the 2000s. I haven't yet gotten around to commissioning a watercolor piece from him, but I am still getting a good bit of enjoyment out of these pen & ink pieces I have of his. He's an amazing artistic talent, and just as good a teacher.

Fantastic ballet stretching pose. Stelfreeze makes this possible by seeing that this image would tell a story for Widow's movements as being dance and performance.

Poetic combination of line quality and pose here. Black Widow's grace and flexibility making her such a deadly weapon. Great piece!

I really like how, on purpose or not, he left the faint sketch of his first attempt at the left leg visable. It's so cool to see that there was a course correction, and demonstrates his master of anatomy wonderfully. Such a great artist, and from such a great period in his career!
