The darkness is where the we strip has the most fun from Wright's illustrative standpoint. The last panel with the flashlight is done to a degree that is up there amongst the best.

Fantastic that these two beauties have remaining together.

Each works separately but only enchanced more as a pair.

David Wright was the master of light and shadow.
