Description

As I'm sure you've figured by now, I have a serious weakness for Ms. Natasha Romanova, aka The Black Widow. I'll admit to not being terribly familiar with Newell's artwork when I first saw this and the Daredevil piece up for auction on ebay. They were up for sale twice in 2001 before the seller dropped the prices down into the range I wanted to pay, but I haven't regretted buying 'em at all. The tonal rendering on these is phenomenal, and the scans simply don't do them justice. Stunning work. Pencil on 11x14 textured (watercolor?) paper.
