Description

I'm not a huge collector of Batman art but I love everything done by Lee Weeks. So when I saw the piece in his portfolio at SDCC, I kept going back to it every time I passed his table. Love everything about it, the grittiness of the back alley interrogation scene, the folds of his cape, and the beautiful smile and laugh of Catwoman as she's stealing the batmobile. This issue represented so much about the overall story during Tom King's run, the constant cat-and-mouse game of Batman and Catwoman

Very cool! You don't realize how high up they are until that 3rd inset panel. The utter joy in Catwoman's face in constrast to the stern look of Batman's closeup is great storytelling.

IMHO, Lee's art took a gigantic leap with the Elmer Fudd one shot and this annual, and this is a phenomenal example of that!

Worth every penny. Beautiful page. Weeks brings and elegance to comics that only a few like Al williams can accomplish. Great pick up.

Those are some fine images of Batman, but those Catwoman panels are delightful.
