Description

I happend to walk by Travis' table on Sunday at Super-Con. Fellow CAF'er Ken Zenuk was the only one at the table. Ken asked me to come over and take a picture of him and Travis. Along with a sketch that Travis had done for Ken. Now, I had stalked Travis' table on Saturday only to find out he would be busy all day working on a piece for charity. As luck would have it, he decided to do a few on Sunday. I asked for Rocketeer. Surprisingly, Travis had never done the character before. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he might decide to do a color version someday. Thanks Travis, this made my show!

Felix I am totally jealous. You know I am almost as big a Rocketeer fan as you so I am super excited that you got this piece. WOW! It is great.

Cool sketch idea - congrats on picking up a Travis Rocketeer! I too have a Rocketeer piece in my CAF but I love seeing more Rocketeer pics :)

Nice piece, I just wish it wasn't considered a tribute nowadays. Dave should still be here.

Interesting choice asking Travis, a fine line pen inker, to draw a character who had been visually defined by Dave Stevens' lush brushwork. However, as with everything else, the fates smiled on you Felix and the composition works, quite nicely indeed. Congrats on a cool, and I anticipate quite unique, sketch!
