Superman #206: If you're in love with Superman, and with Jim Lee and Scott William's art, then this is a must-have piece. From Superman #206, the story is reminiscent of James Gunn 's Superman movie where Superman is trying to stop a war in the Middle East. A spectacular quarter splash panel introduces Superman's arrival in the style that Jim Lee made famous, with his heat vision glowing. The second panel has a marvelous overhead shot of Superman levitating into the room! And the last two panels are a masterclass of Jim Lee's light and shadow work, superbly embellished by his long-time inking partner Scott Williams. You get Superman landing, Superman from above, Superman in light and shadow, and a full face and bust panel with the Superman chest emblem. All that packed into this one marvelous page. A great piece for a discerning collector!
