I thought I was pretty much done with buying "big" Rio pieces after I bought my Ivy Valentine piece - foolish, foolish mortal. I had seen this beauty whilst doing my monthly check to see what new stuff Al had sent to his rep, Terry, but it was frankly out of my price range for my Valentine's Day gift; it was still stuck in my mind even after the Ivy piece came in and I finally decided I had to have it. Naturally I made that decision right after Terry had put it up for auction on ebay - someone else could have swiped it from me! Luckily (for me!) it wound up still being available after the auction ended, so Terry was happy to let me buy these lovely ladies after-the-fact. I think I *might* be finished with "big" Rio purchases for a while... although who can tell for sure with all the great work Al keeps producing of late. He's just determined to keep siphoning money from my wallet... Already making plans to ink a blueline of this one, it's just calling to me. Pencils on 12-1/2" x 16-1/2" Bristol.
