I've admired Brian's Calvin & Hobbes mashups for years. Not only is he a great artist who brilliantly captures Watterson's style, but he also has a knack for picking just the right Calvin & Hobbes scene to bring added depth to his creations. Most noticeably in his series of L'il Kylo commissions.

It's a testament to his wit and talent that he's been able to take a character I don't care for and turn him into something I find funny and charming. However, when he offered a May the 4th Be With You sale on commissions, I decided to go in a different direction and ask for two of the key characters driving the saga.

And what a perfect mashup this is! I'd guess this Episode II scene doesn't immediately come to mind when people think of Obi-wan and Anakin, but it's a spot on choice of quote to mix with this iconic Watterson image.

I'd day Calvin is more chaotic good, while Anakin is more lawful neutral/evil.
