It was fun to meet Reid Beaman at Heroes. I fell for his weary eyed and angsty take on Hellboy in this drawing and had to take it home.

You know, I've never read a single word of Hellboy as I've just never found any appeal for him. But I think that's only because I've needed Reid Beaman to work on him! "Weary eyed and angsty" is right on the money. He almost seems to look like he's just tired of being Hellboy in general! Great pick up, man!

If they ever did an animated series of Hellboy, this would be the perfect look for the character.

Great take on Hellboy here, almost has a Gorillaz type feel and I dig it.

he gives hellboy like a middle-aged kind of feel. Tired and weary of fighting evil for decades he just needs that damn cigarette and he doesnt care if it's raining / is finding joy in it's cleansing nature. Liked getting to see this in person. I think it's a great piece.
