Description

John is the artist behind "Soft Places" and "Cluracan's Tale", two great chapters in the Sandman story. John was gracious enough to paint this portrait of Morpheus for me in January 2008.

This is my largest piece of comic art at 18" x 24".

Just wanted to add that this is quite possibly one of the best Sandman commissions I have ever seen. What are the dimensions of the painting?

I love the mix of mystery and playfulness Watkiss employs.It's like a really cool painting for children's book. The man-faced moon is such a whimsical touch while the castle looms like the House of Mystery (or Secrets, take your pick).
