Description

This comic story work predates Adams's arrival at DC, if only by a few minutes. Many of the 'vitamins' that are hallmarks of Neal's work are present in this page ... plus one more: His 'homage' to Al Williamson is apparent in many of the panels.
This is around the time that Neal ghosted for Al on the Secret Agent Corrigan daily strip [see additional pics], although Adam's work on this Eerie story is closer to the X-9 story found in King's Flash Gordon #4, also early '67.

Great page. Eerie #9 was cover dated May 1967 and Neal ghosted on Corrigan for the 14-19 August 1967 strips so not too far apart.

just remember that strips printed in August were probably done at the very least three months before...
