This is more detailed than many pieces done on regular paper! Maybe done in the spur of the moment, but has a pulp illustration look that works so well in the theme of an old school diner mat paper!

What a beautiful tribute to the pulp illustrations. The detail is amazing. The Shadow's slouch hat is done to perfection.

Well, I was gonna send Vinnie and Sally around to 'educate' Mike about not dating his random artworks, but on the other hand, real collectors of (an artist's) artworks should have enough of a discerning eye to be able to slot works into a rough estimate of just a few years....
