DescriptionVery excited to add my first artwork from Jeffrey Alan Love to the collection. I feel like he completely nailed the tone of Hellboy. This piece captures the grim demeanor of the character. That tone is only helped by his signature style.I had the pleasure of speaking with him a number of times over the HeroesCon weekend, and he is an extremely nice guy. I also got to see one of his sketchbooks and learn a little bit about the overall art process. He is definitely an artist to take note of, and was absolutely thrilled to see his Galactus/Silver Surfer piece at the auction. Big thanks to Felix, Yams, and Jeff, and for a very memorable weekend! Beautiful. I've always liked his style, and this was a nice choice that plays to JAL's strengths. Congrats on another nice add!

Super commission! This really showcases JAL's artistry perfectly. Inspired character choice. He's a great guy and it was fun to talk with him at Heroes about his process and upcoming projects

Thanks, he really did such a great job of capturing the character. He was too, so nice to get the chance to talk him and everyone that weekend and that includes yourself!

I feel you, I got back from Heroes and the list opened up! I still wanted on it, but extremely pleased with this Hellboy.

Like it was chiseled out of granite! Tonal and texture work is scratched out like stone.

Like everyone else, I love the tones of this piece. It reminds me of the work of David Choe.
