Description

Last of my 4 Finch covers but certainly not least! I needed a nice Batman and Robin addition to my collection and man did this fit the bill. All of David�s new painted Batman covers are AMAZING, some of my favorite cover art I�ve seen but this might be my favorite of the bunch. The detail is insane! A big thanks to David and Jason for making sure this went to a good home!!

It's a rarity to see Finch's painted work and he excels in this arena as much as his linework has been a gamechanger for pen and ink. The determination is on full display as he rose to the moment to show the fantasy elements of Batman and Robin in this manner.

WOW! What an amzing Batman cover by David Finch! I knew that David had been experimenting with painting but I didn't realize he was actually doing that for published covers! This is absolutely astonishingly good. The intensity that David always was able to achieve in pen and ink has always impressed me, but now he's achieving another level of intenisity with his paints! This one is jaw-droppingly good! Batman looks so strong and powerful here, and Robin looks great as well. Plus, you've got that whole painted background of Gotham City! It appears David Finch is now playing on God Level!
