Has just enough looseness to evoke the feel of the bygone war time era where gorgeous ladies took to the adventures in the skies. Creates a sentimental attachment by the feelings it brings out of the audience.

Good observation on the "bygone" wars thought. This reminded me of some of Mucha's posters depicting Sarah Bernhardt as well as other famous woomen from many moons ago.

Definitely romanticizing manned flight (or womanned flight). I wonder if she was inspired by Debra Winger.
