DescriptionThe Dark Knight Returns chair. In the pantheon of other iconic John Butler chairs, I am the lucky recipient of this heirloom. We had kicked around the idea for a while and when I finally decided to get off my ass and move forward with the project, I started to supply John with some high-res scans of pages that were/are in my collection. Miller's art style and page layouts made it tough to get the right image layout for the fabric so we decided to add some other high-res images that were out in the ether.The final product left me speechless. John, thanks again for your friendship and generosity. I really love this hobby but more so the friendships that have developed. Enjoy! Social/Sharing |

What a stunner. Its also a lot better than sitting on the original artwork...It would make a funny video though. How many weeping emojis would that create.

Love this. You can finally kick the wife out of your favourite chair because you want to read comics and not feel guilty.

Also this is just freakin' gorgeous - I love the Superman panel right where your shoulder blades go. And the verticals below it. The design is crazy and I am only an eensie weensie teeny tiny bit jealous that you got an ottoman, you son of a bitch.
