Description

Batman: Legends of the Dark Knight # 50 featured several terrific pinups in addition to the fantastic main story written by Denny O'Neil and illustrated by Bret Blevins. This pinup features a dramatic shot of Batman along with a bevy of allies and villains from Batman's past and (then) present. I am very honored to be the caretaker of this awesome illustration that is penciled and inked by a truly under-rated, but very skilled artist!

Kevin's trademarks are his faces and facial expressions. This is about as perfect a piece as any Maguire fan could want. Congrats!

Thank you so much for posting this! When I first came to America, Legends of the Dark Knight #50 was the FIRST batman comic i ever bought (from a gas station of all places) This pinup in the back was my favorite image, to the point i had to keep flipping to the index page to see who the artist was (The first time i had to actually lookup an artist!)

Beautiful piece, Jim! Of course the first thing we all think of when we think of Kevin is his unerring ability to capture life and emotion in every face he draws, but this piece also shows off the depth of his (equally impressive) compositional and design skills. Sensational! Big congrats, Jim!
