written by Barbara Kesel and Paul Levitz

The Persuader first appeared in Adventure 352 (1967) created by Jim Shooter, Curt Swan and George Klein.
He was recruited by the Legion to fight the Sun Eater. After the Sun Eater was defeated, he returned to crime joining the Fatal Five which became sworn enemies of the Legion.
