Description

"Track of the Wolf...Claw of the Bear!" by Michael Fleisher. The art says page 26, although in the comic it is page 19.

A mountain man and Hex trick murderers into acknowledging they, not the trapper's wolf, killed a banker. The criminals pull their guns, and the wolf takes out one of them. A murderer aims his gun at the wolf, but the mountain man jumps in front of the gun and takes the bullet to save the wolf. Hex shoots the rest of the criminals. The mortally wounded trapper asks Hex to take him back to the mountains to die.
