Description

I always think Tom Raney is such an underrated artist� he was just a couple years too late for attention of the 90s artists. And never got a signature run to endear him anywhere. And I think this is a great example of whey he needs more attention. Dynamic panel layout carrying the story forward.. great energy in an action packed page telling three seperate stories giving you great shots of our heroes!

As an X-men fan the two splashy panels of Jean Grey and the beast in his short lived Bachalo designed costume are why this is a keeper!

Three ring circus of action! Sinestro holds his own against Gambit's martial arts attacks! Beast with the big gnarly foot kick to the right. And Jean with the direct punch to the nose of the Phantom Blot pushes the action back left.

I really rated this short-lived X-Men costume redesign. Especially for the likes of Beast and Cable. Tom Raney is best. Nice pick up.

Nice panel layout facilitating the even nicer in-panel action scene storytelling! Raney's definitely underrated. And some killer detailed inking enhancing from Hanna, too! Congrats!
