DescriptionThe team supreme on the Black Panther would be Sal Velluto on pencils and Bob Almond on inks and I asked them to tackle FF#52 the first appearance of the Panther. Well, Sal re-read the issue and designed a cover to match -- he then redrew the letterhead and made up the text boxes, all of which Bob "the incredible" Almond inked the heck out of. I was stunned by this piece and urge everyone to commission these guys.Social/Sharing |

Amazing! Sal even went totally Kirby on the backgrounds and whacky Wakandan scientific gizmos. Very well planned and executed on his part. Love the use of word balloons and the supremely entertaining retro feel to the piece. Almond's inks bring it vividly to life. Flawless!

This has a great feel to it...and you really have found perfect projects for the "team supreme" Sal and Bob.

Yet another stunning addition to what is clearly the most prolific gallery at CAF. Velluto and Almond are a commission team supreme.
