15" x 10" image area. Ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board. Avengers #245 Page 9 original art (Marvel, 1983). Al Milgrom and Joe Sinnott.

I have not seen much comic art featuring Captain Marvel II, Monica Rambeau. Love the art on this and the various forms she is depicted as and in.

Pure nostalgia. And indeed, not a lot of CM II pages for Avengers around. Had to wait long before getting a Byrne, Buscema and Ditko example with her on it. But yours is really great.

My favorite Marvel character to bear the name "Captain Marvel," no doubt in part because she was a prominent member of the Avengers when I first started collecting comics. This page is a fantastic spotlight on the character.

Wonderful center panel! All that zip is not typical of Sinnott, but works great to get across the Milgrom special effects for Captain Marvel.
